A previous version of this paper was published 10 years ago, as Lessons from the Field. At that time, it relied on 15 years of experience helping various organizations assess, design, develop or implement strategic change for incident-free and care-filled work environments.
With an extra 10 years of experience in helping clients create safe workplaces, we have gathered to update those learnings. We have added some elements we now believe are crucial, especially in large, multi-site workplaces, to produce incident-free, harm-free and care-filled work environments.
