We draw on a range of approaches and many years’ experience helping groups and teams improve their performance.
Our approach is to work with members of a team to:
Clarify pictures of what success looks like
Develop realistic and achievable plans
Create ways of working together that allow them to be safe and excel
Resolve difficulties between individuals in the group
Find ways to clarify outcomes
Achieve outstanding results
There is an order in which we tend to go about things when it comes to improving the functioning of a team.
We assess the current state of the team on a number of hard and soft variables
We work at exploring, opening up and building the relationships among the individuals within it
We open up the information flow and patterns of interaction so the group can make better and well-informed decisions when it is working
We clarify the team’s ambitions and intentions
We work intensively with them to develop agreed ground rules of play
We help them identify the blockages and conundrums that need resolving
We help the group develop strategy to become a high performing team, and
Design with them the specific action steps to achieve this, and finally
We build in mechanisms for them to sustain the gains they have achieved
